• Optical design and measurement technics b"j|Bb  
• provide the optical know-how and optical design experience for multi-disciplinary product-related projects <:;^'x>!  
• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips *~VxC{  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping 9IZu$-  
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics ,/Cq v

Qualifications: ;h/pnmhP  
• Experience:preferable 1 years above Qvoqx>2p5  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering L/r@ S'  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. }At{'8*n  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field +|RB0}hFS-  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose {I1~-8  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that .0y%5wz8j  
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred ! -=}3j&,\R
