• provide the optical know-how and optical design experience for multi-disciplinary product-related projects sGjYL>*  
• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips ENwDW#U9  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping ;6g&_6  
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics ,}i`1E1=

Qualifications: PT7L65  
• Experience:preferable 1 years above <(rf+Ou>I  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering }R#YO$J7  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. <S'5`-&  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field ">QNiR!  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose JTw\5j  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that xWX1P%`  
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred ! IKhpe5}
