In contrast to conventional devices our XUV spectrometer does not q4{Pm $OW  
require a narrow entrance aperture but rather images the harmonic source  G7 >

This configuration typically collects 15 to 25 times more light than 3{RuR+yi  
standard versions, resulting in a signal-to-noise figure improved by the m6^Ua

In some experiments, this improved signal strength is the crucial step PxzeN6f

- Flat-field imaging technology 7Ipt~K}  
Our instruments are based on high quality aberration-corrected 3xef>Xv=  
flat-field gratings. In contrast to conventional gratings these focus C\Q3vG  
all wavelengths onto a plane rather than a circle. This allows for H `y.jSNi  
positioning the entire detector in the focal plane of the grating for 2 P+RfE`o

The spectrometer is very compact and can be bolted directly to a vacuum {9U<!

Through its modular design, our spectrometer can be adapted to a number c_c]0Tm  
of configurations (source distance, spectral range, detectors, vacuum 5,`U3na,  
pumping, etc). This makes it highly flexible for varying requirements wVkms

- Robust against misalignment UfjLNe}wA  
The compact design of the spectrometer makes it inherently insensitive :0IxnK(r&  
against mechanical and environmental disturbances (vibrations, %F-/|x1#Q  
acoustics, etc). No externally moving parts and closed-loop grating I7TdBe-  
actuators with absolute position monitoring add to the robustness and {6Lkh  
allow for monitoring of the grating alignment at all times.  A]R7H1  
In addition, the concept of a spectrometer without entrance slit also wGa0w*$  
makes the instrument less sensitive to misalignment. Under typical pq_DYG]  
operating conditions a misalignment of the beam in the dispersion R9&T0Qf  
direction on the entrance of the spectrometer by 500um would lead to a ms'&.u&<  
signal reduction by more than 20% in an instrument with entrance slit  {Uxa h

The adaptability of our XUV spectrometer makes it possible to highly S+H#^WSt  
custom-fit the device to requirements. Thus we offer to customize every /+4Dq4{ t)

includes e.g. interfacing to experimental chambers, adaption of the *- $u\?$  
source distance, integration of customer-supplied detectors, QT{$2 7;
