This configuration typically collects 15 to 25 times more light than 4#w^PM8}  
standard versions, resulting in a signal-to-noise figure improved by the :S12=sFl$

Our instruments are based on high quality aberration-corrected (Nahtx!/9  
flat-field gratings. In contrast to conventional gratings these focus xJhbGK  
all wavelengths onto a plane rather than a circle. This allows for D,/9rH  
positioning the entire detector in the focal plane of the grating for -wfV

The spectrometer is very compact and can be bolted directly to a vacuum MV}]i@ V

Through its modular design, our spectrometer can be adapted to a number aw1J#5j`n  
of configurations (source distance, spectral range, detectors, vacuum : 4WbDeR  
pumping, etc). This makes it highly flexible for varying requirements G m! ]

The compact design of the spectrometer makes it inherently insensitive uw!|G>  
against mechanical and environmental disturbances (vibrations, (xed(uFEK

actuators with absolute position monitoring add to the robustness and :\_MA^<  
allow for monitoring of the grating alignment at all times. 6,1|y%(f  
In addition, the concept of a spectrometer without entrance slit also m 9@n  
makes the instrument less sensitive to misalignment. Under typical 59J9V3na  
operating conditions a misalignment of the beam in the dispersion m=B0!Z1xx  
direction on the entrance of the spectrometer by 500um would lead to a V&H8-,7z  
signal reduction by more than 20% in an instrument with entrance slit /g''-yT7#
