In contrast to conventional devices our XUV spectrometer does not $zF%F.rln  
require a narrow entrance aperture but rather images the harmonic source X|D-[|P  
directly onto the detector. Thus 80% or more of the incoming beam can be ;-BN~1Jg

This configuration typically collects 15 to 25 times more light than T8%!l40v  
standard versions, resulting in a signal-to-noise figure improved by the O#p_rfQ

In some experiments, this improved signal strength is the crucial step !\'H{,G

- Flat-field imaging technology _1mpsY<k  
Our instruments are based on high quality aberration-corrected HF"TS*  
flat-field gratings. In contrast to conventional gratings these focus  \S1W,H|  
all wavelengths onto a plane rather than a circle. This allows for 7WY~v2SDF  
positioning the entire detector in the focal plane of the grating for bC98<if

The spectrometer is very compact and can be bolted directly to a vacuum g^x=y

Through its modular design, our spectrometer can be adapted to a number lw99{y3<<  
of configurations (source distance, spectral range, detectors, vacuum 0pG + yec

The compact design of the spectrometer makes it inherently insensitive 7a^D[f0V  
against mechanical and environmental disturbances (vibrations, Dsn=fht  
acoustics, etc). No externally moving parts and closed-loop grating uqU&k@  
actuators with absolute position monitoring add to the robustness and *SIYZE'  
allow for monitoring of the grating alignment at all times. DVMdRfA  
In addition, the concept of a spectrometer without entrance slit also R*0mCz^+h  
makes the instrument less sensitive to misalignment. Under typical uB3VCO.;_  
operating conditions a misalignment of the beam in the dispersion mBb3Ta  
direction on the entrance of the spectrometer by 500um would lead to a JtsXMZz  
signal reduction by more than 20% in an instrument with entrance slit xx|D#Z}G

custom-fit the device to requirements. Thus we offer to customize every NZa 7[}H
