In contrast to conventional devices our XUV spectrometer does not P<JkRX  
require a narrow entrance aperture but rather images the harmonic source CJtjn

This configuration typically collects 15 to 25 times more light than Y+`-~ 88  
standard versions, resulting in a signal-to-noise figure improved by the 0?;Hmq3

In some experiments, this improved signal strength is the crucial step tBI+uu aa2

Our instruments are based on high quality aberration-corrected Mciq9{8&  
flat-field gratings. In contrast to conventional gratings these focus MkGq%AE`Y  
all wavelengths onto a plane rather than a circle. This allows for R9-JjG2v  
positioning the entire detector in the focal plane of the grating for N\e@$1

The spectrometer is very compact and can be bolted directly to a vacuum Y[]+C8"O  
chamber. It is capable of carrying its own weight, no table required. .%b_3s".

Through its modular design, our spectrometer can be adapted to a number 7-g4S]r<  
of configurations (source distance, spectral range, detectors, vacuum w:xKgng=L  
pumping, etc). This makes it highly flexible for varying requirements 0HuRFl

The compact design of the spectrometer makes it inherently insensitive WB [G!'  
against mechanical and environmental disturbances (vibrations, LtWU"42  
acoustics, etc). No externally moving parts and closed-loop grating &b")`p&K  
actuators with absolute position monitoring add to the robustness and LP6FSo~K  
allow for monitoring of the grating alignment at all times. mqT0^TNPcl  
In addition, the concept of a spectrometer without entrance slit also !!O{ ppM  
makes the instrument less sensitive to misalignment. Under typical `'.x*MNF  
operating conditions a misalignment of the beam in the dispersion \'=}kk`  
direction on the entrance of the spectrometer by 500um would lead to a 3C[4!>|  
signal reduction by more than 20% in an instrument with entrance slit w$:)wyR-

The adaptability of our XUV spectrometer makes it possible to highly oYErG] ,  
custom-fit the device to requirements. Thus we offer to customize every Vzm+Ew _
