To accelerate and intensify competence build-up in the SLI Development group of GTD Campus China (Shanghai) and define, plan, and execute innovation projects within the Shanghai team. The job  has a strong emphasis on LED-engine related competences (thermal, optical performance) together with essential project planning skills. Working with the team in OEM/ODM projects as a technical “front-person”. Supply base is located in mainland China, and requires frequent communication and visits to ensure quality, reliability, and timeliness. The latter is done in conjunction with the Philips Lighting China Sourcing Group (CSG) q<3nAE$?=

2.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES主要工作职责 =i/Df?  
• Initiate early reality checks of RFD’s, translating them into quick scans of feasibility, using Shanghai equipment and team. Recommend time of supplier involvement. tOwn M1 :(  
•Apply and extend Cost Engineering to LED Lighting solutions within the development team. 6'qkD<  
• Bring LED expertise (interaction with electronics, test, thermal, and reliability) to a higher level in the team, by “training on the job”. ^y+k6bE  
• Bring strong awareness of the importance of strict project planning discipline to the team as well as the development partners (CSG and external suppliers). Fmk:[hMw  
• Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of the literature and technical contacts. i:lc]B  
• Serve a role model of taking ownership of technical and operational issues, and create a team spirit in these by smart delegating of tasks. $)lkiA&;

.SLI Sanghai is in a rapid growth cycle which demands quick Time to Market and where moving targets in cost or performance can sometimes not be avoided. It’s the TPM’s challenge to keep clear targets to the project team in timing, performance and cost as well as to safeguard the team’s technical solution meets the required specifications. Cost engineering is the other challenge where the TPM needs to challenge the whole team, incl. the TPM, on daily basis to deliver the lowest cost product still meeting the customer’s specification. +! 1_Mt6

a) Education学历: BSc/MSc ME/EEb) Experience工作经验: The ideal candidate has a broad technical back-ground in the field of (digital) electronics, LED/Laser physics, material properties, and has demonstrated a great drive for getting things done, on-time. The candidate should be familiar with optical, electrical, and thermo-mechanical issues that are relevant to ensure quality and reliability of LED Lighting products. Llfl I  
The candidate holds a BSc/MSc in electrical or mechanical engineering, and has proven experience in both developing and manufacturing LED Lighting products. Good command of the English language in both speaking and writing is a must. rQ*+ <`R}
