對單一正透鏡，維持相同的焦距時，index較大表示曲率半徑可以較大；

我本來也是這樣想的。可是這樣的話，負透鏡的應該也要提高折射率才對啊，為何書上是寫降低折射率？ x`|tT%q@l

According the lens maker's equation,1/f=(n-1)*(1/r1-1/r2), that mean that you can get same1/ f and less 1/r with high index material.

usually the high index material is much expensive
