• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips w<9>Q1(  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping }6 5s'JB  
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics D}3XFuZs_

• Experience:preferable 1 years above '2zL.:~  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering i~J;G#b  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. fQ>4MKLw=d  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field Ff^@~X+W<  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose *b}>cn)<v  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that TST4Vy3  
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred j\RpO'+}
