我国研究人员利用咪唑基离子液体提高钙钛矿电池效率
近日,中国科学院大连化学物理研究所薄膜太阳能电池研究组研究员刘生忠团队与陕西师范大学研究员杨栋团队合作,利用咪唑基离子液体钝化钙钛矿的表面、改善钙钛矿薄膜的电荷传输,从而制备出高效率的钙钛矿电池。
钙钛矿薄膜作为钙钛矿电池的核心部件,是影响电池性能和稳定性的关键,其一般通过前驱体溶液挥发溶剂制备。在制备过程中,由于钙钛矿薄膜容易在其结晶的晶界和表面产生缺陷,导致钙钛矿易被分解以及产生非辐射复合,严重影响钙钛矿电池的性能。因此,开发出可制备具有较少缺陷的高效钙钛矿电池技术尤为重要。目前,表面钝化因其易于应用而被认为是减少缺陷最有效方法之一。 研究团队利用1,3-二甲基-3-咪唑六氟磷酸(DMIMPF6)离子液体钝化钙钛矿表面,降低了钙钛矿与空穴传输层之间的能垒。理论计算和实验结果表明,[DMIM]+与钙钛矿表面的Pb2+结合,可以有效钝化Pb-I反位点缺陷,从而显著抑制非辐射复合,使钙钛矿电池效率从21.09%提高到23.25%。该研究还发现,离子液体中[BMIM]+阳离子和[BF4]-阴离子对提高太阳能电池的性能都起到积极作用。该研究进一步证实了离子液体掺杂技术可增强钙钛矿电池的性能。 相关成果发表在《德国应用化学》(Angewandte international Edition Chemie)上。研究工作得到国家自然科学基金、国家重点研究项目、中科院战略性先导专项(A类)“临近空间科学实验系统”、国家大学研究基金、高等学校学科创新引智计划、中科院知识创新工程的资助。 相关链接:https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/anie.202010987 分享到:

High‐efficiency perovskite solar cells with imidazolium‐based ionic liquid for surface passivation and charge transport
Abstract
Surface defects have been a key constraint for perovskite photovoltaics. Herein, 1,3‐dimethyl‐3‐imidazolium hexafluorophosphate (DMIMPF 6 ) ionic liquid (IL) is adopted to passivate the perovskite surface and also reduce the energy barrier between the perovskite and hole transport layer. Theoretical simulation and experimental results demonstrate that Pb‐cluster and Pb‐I antisite defects can be effectively passivated by [DMIM] + bonding with the Pb 2+ on the perovskite surface, leading to significantly suppressed non‐radiative recombination. As a result, the solar cell efficiency is increased to 23.25% from 21.09% for the control device, mostly due to improvement of open‐circuit voltage. Furthermore, the DMIMPF 6 ‐treated perovskite device shows better long term environmental stability because the DMIMPF 6 layer can efficiently block moisture permeation due to its hydrophobic nature. This work provides firm support to the understanding of the passivation effect and further promotes the development of surface engineering for enhancing the performance of perovskite photovoltaics.
