1. if you have NS group then it;s origin coinsides with that at the local coordinate of the non-sequential component surface, when you define any objects in the NS group (editor), bear in mind that the dimension of the objects will refer to this surface as the origin and will actually extend in sequential space. 2. your thought on this is correct but be careful how you define verticies of your POB object as the scaling will apply from the center of POB. 1;SW%\M

3. I am not quite sure what you meant but one thing to watch out is the reltive position and the size of your ports in mixed mode as they will affect how rays propagate through the system.
