Project Manager / Senior Engineer / Engineer, Optics Design

Description:

The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) was founded by the HKSAR Government in 2000 with a mission of enhancing Hong Kong’s competitiveness in technology based industries through applied research. Owing to the continuous expansion in our R&D activities, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

Job Duty:

·         Responsible for image optical design in display field, e.g. flat panel display optics, head mounted display (HMD), head up display (HUD), pico-projector, etc
·         Analyze the design requirement for each project and application, optical system design, vender survey, schedule control and prototype verification
·         Technology research and patent analysis for existing designs
·         Participate in the development, review and implementation of product upgrade; and
·         Generate new R&D ideas and identify technologies for implementation

Requirement:

·         5+ years relevant experience for Master or 1+ year relevant experience for PhD in image optics design or equivalent discipline
·         Familiar with optical system design tools, such as Code V, or Zemax, ASAP, LighTools or TracePro
·         Experience of image lens system design, e.g. Camera lens, projection lens, zoom lens, etc
·         Experience in non-image optical parts design, such as LED second optics design, projector illumination system design, etc. is a plus
·         Experience or education background on laser beam shaping, mechanism, fabrication process, application or related research / industry is a plus
·         Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua will be a plus; and
·         Less experience will be considered as ‘Engineer’

Appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work under a five-day week schedule.

公司不错，对于大家也是个锻炼的机会。不知道现在的待遇怎么样。还是年薪10几万的话，还是比较困难的招人。
