• provide the optical know-how and optical design experience for multi-disciplinary product-related projects %LI[+#QE
• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips 2AYV9egZ
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping G@$Y6To[
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics V yy;mEBg

• Experience:preferable 1 years above }5_[t9LX
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering Ug :3)q[O
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. M$Sq3m`{!
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field GjVq "S
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose cV;<!f+
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that ++>HU{
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred ! =f48[=
