• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping )

• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering $N\k*=
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. `N8t2yF
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field z! :0%qu
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose B[9y<FB+
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that ;. =]Ar}
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred ch33+~Nn
