• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips 6U, O*WJ%e
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping "z=SO1

• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering 9 !}8UALD
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. 8tFoN*M
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field Yqi4&~?db
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose sCk?
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that <\ :Yk
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred c~uKsU
