We are working on nonlinear optical imaging (particularly coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) imaging) which includes development of CARS microscopy and microendoscopy systems and their biomedical applications (e.g. cancer diagnosis). 0cB]:*W #0r^<Yn Now we are looking for a research fellow to involve in biomedical optical imaging research. It would be better that the candidate has hands-on experience in one or more of the following: optical/fiber optic instrumentation development, biomedical optics, optical microscopy (CARS, Raman, multiphoton, fluorescence confocal microscopy), optical spectroscopy, optical fiber based microscopy/endoscopy. Proficiency in programming using Matlab and Labview is a benefit. Experience with biological and animal studies will be a plus. p9i7<X2& r&R~a9+) Requirements: A graduated master student will be the best. Any good students without PhD should be in one of the following discipline: Applied Physics/Biophysics, Optical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biological Sciences, and Electrical Engineering. English needs to be good enough for communications and writing. The candidate will work as a research fellow.
