物理光学的模拟问题

进行物理光学的模拟时,采用gaussian size+angle模式,选项x-width,y-width与x-size,y-size有啥区别啊,我理解后者指的是光束的大小,那前者又是啥呢,难道是sampling时的间距? yYToiW *  
英文解释如下,看了N次,还是不理解 The X- and Y-Width are measured in lens units. The larger the width, the more empty space around the portion of the beam with non-zero intensity there will be. This space is called the guard band, and it is vital that sufficient empty space exist around the beam. The empty space allows room for the beam to expand as aberrations are introduced to the beam. If portions of the beam get too close to the edge of the array, they will "alias" and reflect back into the beam, decreasing the accuracy of the computed results. wfDp,T3w7
